STALPROFIL a laureate of the "Brand-Silesia" competition

The Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice, together with the President of the City of Gliwice and the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, organized the XXX Jubilee Grand Gala of the Chamber on September 7th at the PreZero Arena Gliwice, during which the results of the 15th edition of the "Brand-Silesia" competition were announced.

The XXX Grand Gala of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the 15th edition of the "Brand-Silesia" competition are unique events that aim to promote and reward the best companies, organizations and institutions from the Silesian Voivodeship, contributing to its dynamic economic, cultural and social development. This year's edition is particularly special, as the jubilee celebrations were an opportunity to sum up many years of activities and achievements, as well as to celebrate the 165th anniversary of the establishment of the first Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice.

Since 2016, awards have been granted in the following categories: Economy, Science, Culture, Sport, Cultural Heritage of the Region, Tourism and Recreation, Product, Service, Health, Non-Governmental Organizations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Personality of the Year. During the Gala, state and regional awards were also presented for active and developmental creation of a market economy. Chamber Medals were also awarded.

Below are the winners.

  • In the Economy category, the award was given to STALPROFIL SA
  • In the Science category, the award was given to the Silesian Medical University, and distinctions to the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.
  • In the Culture category, the award went to the Silesian Opera, and a distinction went to the Municipal Theatre in Gliwice.
  • In the Cultural Heritage of the Region category, the following were distinguished: the Silesian Opera and the Academic Dance Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology "Dąbrowiacy".
  • In the Sport category, the award went to MOSiR Rybnik.
  • In the Tourism and Recreation category, the Golf Association Mikołów.
  • In the Product category, the award went to GZM, and a distinction went to the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.
  • In the Service category, the award went to the EMT Systems company, and a distinction went to the Project Managers' School - "PM" School.
  • In the Health category, the award went to the Silesian Medical Technology Park Kardio-Med Silesia, and a distinction went to the Upper Silesian Medical Center of the Silesian Medical University named after prof. Leszek Giec, the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, the Silesian Medical University in Katowice.
  • In the Non-Governmental Organizations category, the award went to the Vocational Development Center in Katowice, and the distinction went to the "Dom Nadziei" Foundation, the Silesian Association of MS Patients "SezaM".
  • In the Corporate Social Responsibility category, the award went to: Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials, and the distinction went to PreZero Arena Gliwice.
  • In the Media category, the award went to the portal "Today in Gliwice" - Big Bang Media, and the distinction went to the City of Wodzisław Śląski.
  • In the Personality of the Year category, the award went to prof. dr hab. nauka med. Jan Duława, distinction: Adam Konka, Jacek Bialik.
  • The SuperBrand-Silesia award went to prof. dr hab. inż. Jerzy Buzek.

The Gala was attended by representatives of all key areas of political, social and economic life, distinguished guests representing the largest business organizations in the region, figures from the world of science, culture and art, and a large group of Silesian entrepreneurs.
