Contracts for supply of steel from ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections SA
On 16 April 2014 Stalprofil SA (the recipient) has received confirmation of complex commercial contracts from ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections SA, based in Luxembourg (supplier), for delivery in the month of April of steel produced by steel mills belonging to the ArcelorMittal Group and thus entered into subsequent transactions purchase of steel products with a value of 19 132 thousand PLN.
As a result of the conclusion of the transaction, the total value of contracts concluded by Stalprofil SA with entities of ArcelorMittal Group from 14 February 2014 (from the date of publication of current report 4/2014) amounted to 30 961 thousand PLN. ArcelorMittal Group is the largest steel producer in the world, as well as in Poland, and at the same time is a major supplier of steel products for Stalprofil SA.
The highest value transaction contained in the aforementioned period between the parties was purchase of steel products (orders confirmed by the supplier) concluded on April 16, 2014 for the value of 19 132 thousand PLN regarding supply of steel products manufactured by ArcelorMittal Ostrava AS, based in Ostrava, ArcelorMittal Esch-Belval, Differdange, Rodange in Luxembourg, ArcelorMittal Bergara Bergara SA, ArcelorMittal Hunedoara and ArcelorMittal Poland SA with its seat in Dąbrowa Górnicza. These deliveries will be on the Stalprofil SA in April 2014.
Terms of the transaction in question do not provide for liquidated damages and do not differ from those commonly used for this type of trade agreements.
Purchases of steel contained with the contractor meet the criterion of a significant agreement because their total value reaches 10% of the equity of the issuer.
