Taking over of works on the construction of the gas pipeline DN 700 Szczecin-Gdańsk: Phase II Karlino-Koszalin
Management Board of Stalprofil SA announces that on 05.03.2013 the subsidiary ZRUG Zabrze SA, acting as the leader of the consortium, composed of ZRUG Zabrze SA located in Zabrze (consortium leader), Stalprofil SA based in Dąbrowa Górnicza (consortium member) and Nafta Gaz Serwis SA in Sanok (consortium member), decided to take over from the participant of the Consortium - Nafta Gaz Serwis SA - the scope of work performed by the company in the construction of the gas pipeline DN 700 Szczecin-Gdańsk: Phase II Karlino-Koszalin, informing the Purchaser (Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych Gaz-System SA) about the fact.
The reason was that construction works by Nafta Gaz Serwis SA were not done in accordance with established and agreed schedule. In addition, the consortium participants acquired knowledge of bankruptcy of Nafta Gaz Serwis SA on 01.03.2013.
Total scope of works envisaged to be completed by Nafta Gaz Serwis SA under the contract to build a gas pipeline DN 700 Szczecin-Gdańsk was described in the current report 13/2012 and amounted to about 25% of the material and financial range, and stood at 55 847 369,24 PLN, including the Phase II Karlino-Koszalin in the amount of 20 209 439,99 PLN.
The scope and value of the work done so far by Nafta Gaz Serwis SA on the section of the pipeline of Phase II Karlino-Koszalin is now being inventoried by the leader of the Consortium - ZRUG Zabrze SA.
Meanwhile ZRUG Zabrze SA informed the issuer about its readiness to take over from a member of the Consortium - Nafta Gaz Serwis SA - the full scope of work and execute it according to the schedule established and agreed with OGP Gaz-System SA.
